Getting media attention is a great way to reach out to a new or bigger audience. Think about the cost of advertising on a particular media outlet ($$$$$) compared to the cost of your time and effort to get featured in the news or get an interview with a reporter. It just takes your time and a little effort on your part to find the perfect media to pitch and to reach out to that reporter or producer with your story. You will see big payoffs by getting press. You get a chance to build up your Biz Street Cred and increase your Know, Like and Trust factor with customers and clients.
