Do you blog?
So many people are blogging these days. Even more are reading blogs. Many of those people consider themselves bloggers. But what if you are a solo-entrepreneur or small business owner? Should you blog too?
My answer to that is YES!
A 2010 survey done by Hubspot found that 46% of people read blogs more than once a day
Here are 3 reasons why every entrepreneur or small business owner should be blogging.
1. Share With The World
Blogging is a great way to share what you do and why you do it with customers and clients. It is impossible for you to be everywhere at all times to tell people all about your business. A blog allows you to reach your customers, clients and readers at all hours of the day all over the world. Whether you are writing or just sharing with video it is your chance to share authentically on your own terms.
2. The Authority Factor
By sharing what you know, you are able to position yourself as a leader in your industry or niche. It is an opportunity to share your knowledge and know-how. If you are consistently sharing content that is useful to your customers and clients you will position yourself as an authority in their eyes.
3. Drive Traffic and Gains Customers
Sharing content on your blog is a great way to drive potential customers to your website. Once you have created the content and you share it on your Social Media channels you will be able to increase traffic. As you create content, you will be able to reach more customers, driving more people to your website and ultimately reaching more customers. According to a Hubspot survey, 60% of businesses that blog acquire more customers.
Blogging allows you share what you do in your business but also how and why you do it. You can share your challenges and your triumphs. The more you share, the more you will grow your community to your business.
