February Pitch & Post Ideas

There is no doubt that February is the month of love but not every pitch has to be focused on Valentine’s Day. It is an easy one to focus on, which is why it is top of the list, but there are a few other ways to create media pitches and social media content for February.

  • Valentine’s Day: February 14. It’s all about feeling the love. Offer up some ways people can celebrate the month of love with their partner and kids. Maybe it’s about meals for dinner with your partner. Or maybe pitch ways you can celebrate Valentine’s day with the entire family. You could offer craft ideas for kids, easy baking or cooking meal ideas, or event celebrating Valentine’s day on a budget. Of course, don’t forget the good old Valentine’s Day gift guide ideas!
  • Galentine’s Day: February 13: It is a day that has transcended the television screen and become an unofficial holiday celebrated as a day for “ladies celebrating ladies”. This is a great opportunity to pitch great gift ideas for your BFF’s, lady getaways, and girls night outs.
  • Heart and Stroke Month: Show your heart and brain a little love this month. This is a great opportunity to share heart-healthy fitness tips or focus on heart-healthy foods or foods that promote good brain health. https://www.heartandstroke.ca/
  • Love Yourself: It is the love month after all. Let’s share some tips for men and women to practice self-love. Offer tips for busy moms to take care of themselves. Self-care is a BIG topic these days so some great posting opportunities here for social.
